Mark’s home is in a great location minutes from sequoia national Park. The home is beautifully decorated with wonderful details that make it feel like home away from home. He even provided little amenities that gave it the perfect touch. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely return in the future.

"Perfect stay! Our only complaint was that our trip was not longer. I thought Mark, the host, named the house "Blue Jay" because it's blue. But as we pulled in to the driveway and got out, 3 blue jays flew from tree to tree in the front yard. There was also a lot of cute Gambel Quails and deer in the area. The house is maybe a 10 minute drive from the Sequoia National Park entrance. A Fairytale location. It is a very comfortable home and extremely clean. It's a tough time to travel right now (Covid-19) but I felt safe there. Mark, was very helpful and prompt in responding to my questions. I would definitely stay again but longer next time."

John's review of our Vacation Rental 'The Shady Knoll'."The Shady Knoll was the perfect spot for rest and relaxation, within a short distance from The Sequoia National Park. The house was clean and tastefully decorated, and Mark thought of every detail to make the trip enjoyable. We knew immediately we were going to love it when we saw the views from all sides of the house the first night we were there. My son, a teacher on break, spent hours sitting on the deck or on the sitting space watching the mountains. I loved seeing all the little lizards scampering about on the rocks by the sitting space as I enjoyed a glass of wine each night or the beautiful deer that walked right up to the deck...but no further....the first morning as I drank my coffee. Mark thought of many little details. We had everything we needed for cooking in the well-supplied kitchen, and when we walked in, there were snacks waiting for us on the counter. The drive into the park every day was enjoyable, and we enjoyed eating at a couple of the restaurants. This house was a great place to take the break my family and I needed! We will definitely be back someday! Though we did not have cell phone service, which is common everywhere there, we did have good WiFi at the house."

"The view is fantastic! The fire pit and its comfy outdoor seating, porch lounge, and bbq were so appreciated, adding perfectly to the beautiful mountain setting! And inside the house itself it is beautiful, incredibly clean and cozy, with all amenities we could hope for! It was such a pleasure to spend the weekend at Marks "Nest" ... we truly hope to return often, as we love the Sequoias and Three Rivers! Thank you so much Mark!"

"In the Oaks" was a great place to stay in Three Rivers. Great views from the deck, close to the Sequoia National Park entrance, 12 minutes to everything in Three Rivers, and the place is nicely refurbished. Mark is super responsive and provides lots of local knowledge."

"We had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Amazing attention to detail with kitchen items—spices, cooking spray, etc. Great hot water & air conditioning was fantastic. If anything, there could have been more paper products like Kleenex and paper towels, but overall absolutely everything we needed was here!"
